- Servant leaders think generationally.
- Human nature tends to go back to the predictable.
- The challenge of leadership is to move towards the unproven and unpredictable.
- The challenge and risk of leadership is to empower the next generation to becomes princes in the land.
- I want to pastor a church that sets up a generation to win.
- We need to learn from the fathers but we need to move forward.
- The unpredictable is not a negative thing.
- So much of how Jesus lived was unpredictable.
- Jesus was predictably unpredictable.
- There are certain things you need to be predictable about.
- Predictability is our friend in the areas of loyalty, reliability, beliefs, credibility, example and commitment.
- Influence doesn't come from doing things the way they have always been done.
- Innovation will never come from doing things the way they have always been done.
- It is easier to point fingers than it is to actually take a risk and do something!
- Honor the fathers but make sure that you are moving towards the sons!
- Fresh life never comes from being predictable.
- To be a learner is to inherit the future.
- Make sure that you don't become a servant to books. Books need to be your servant.
- Experience is not everything!
- Experience doesn't build the house. Its wisdom that builds the house!
- Experience is a great servant but terrible master.
- Programing, culture and even heritage need to be servant and not the master.
- You don't have to live your life serving history. You can live your life making history.
