Here are 10 things I got out of this video about starting a movement:
- All movements need a leader.
- You will be alone at the beginning!
- You have to be bold and courageous!
- You cannot worry and stress out about what others might think.
- You have to be in it for the long haul. (Consistency)
- You have to interact and welcome people who seem to be interested in what you are doing.
- When people start getting involved, don't try to control them.
- There will always be people who will not get involved in the movement, so don't try to please everyone!
- Let the tribe improvise and be creative.
- Have fun! Its all worth it at the end!

Very cool video and great points.
Here's another:
- People are moved by music, so pick a good song!
Think I should let you know that I got extra excited that the comment is from "KCM team"!!
Thank you for the comment!!
Music plays a big role! Good point! : )
Yes, add every movement needs a song!!!!! "A you need is love!" :I am black and I am proud" etc.
The thing that I find most interesting about starting a movement is that often times the catalyst isn't fully aware don't know how big it will/could get. That guy was authentically expressing himself and people were drawn into becoming a part of his infectious passion.
This is a great post! To follow up on what John said, the catalyst was just being sincere and following his passion.
I think once God ignites our passion and spurs us to move, we should obey and not worry about what those around us may think.
@John and @lawyer - Great points! Thanks for the input! Appreciate it! : )
